The system classifies and colors organic and inorganic objects according to effective atomic number, and it offers automatic explosive detection and high density region enhancement. The body uses bended sheet metal shells with a gofrato finish over a self standing structure. A simple interface and clear warnings support safe use by operators and passengers.

Amplification of Sensation

Amplification of Sensation is a public chair made from discarded plastic that also serves as a sculpture. The chair is installed along the promenade of the Han River in Seoul. The funnel shape surrounds the seated user and amplifies the sounds of the trees and the water. The form also frames the view and focuses attention on the surrounding landscape. The material is produced by crushing plastic waste into small pieces and molding them into the seat. The design invites citizens to rest and to consider environmental issues.

Renew

Renew is a marker designed for quick replacement of the ink core. The pen holder is unscrewed with a twisting motion, so the tip separates from the core and a new core can be inserted without spilled ink. The twist mechanism keeps the holder in place when the cap is removed. Grooves around the fiber tip let the tip bend, which keeps full contact with the paper surface. The cap shape indicates the tip thickness, and matching cap and holder colors show the tilt direction of the tip. The body is made of plastic with a rubber section.

KNX Waltz Touch Pad

Waltz Touch Pad is a smart home control panel for building automation. The panel combines a touch screen with physical buttons in a single unit.
