Luzern
Luzern is a range of kitchen utensils designed for everyday cooking. Each utensil is formed as a single piece, which removes assembly steps and reduces material and labour. The material is glass fibre reinforced polypropylene, selected for stiffness, durability and food safety. The tools are heat resistant up to 210 degrees Celsius and remain soft enough to avoid scratching non-stick pans and pots. Each piece measures 325 by 110 by 95 millimetres and weighs between 38 and 58 grams. The handles are shaped for a comfortable grip.
Luzern Kitchen Utensils by Andrea Ragazzo was recognized as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Luzern Kitchen Utensils earned the Iron A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2020. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that rewards outstanding design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
