Charlene 10th Years
Charlene 10 Years is a commemorative gift box created for the tenth anniversary exhibition of a jewellery brand. The box takes the form of a fan case and measures 260 by 95 by 40 millimetres. An opening structure recalls a window, echoing an earlier exhibition theme. The exhibition theme is embossed in green on the surface, and the brand slogan is embossed in silver on the lid. Inside are a main volume, a supplement, a bamboo fan in a white box, a paper invitation and a bamboo painting card. The supplement uses traditional accordion binding and unfolds to ten metres.
Charlene 10th Years Gift Box by Hanyun Gu was featured as an exceptional illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Charlene 10th Years Gift Box won the Bronze A' Design Award in Giftware Design in 2025. The A' Giftware Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which honors superior design of candles, figurines, picture frames, decorative plates, ornaments, souvenirs, personalized mugs, collectibles and more.
