Arcstool
Arcstool is a low backless seat designed for use in homes and other interiors. The form is inspired by the natural arches of Arches National Park. Two curved wooden parts meet at a central point, creating a symmetrical shape with visible arc lines along the edges. The seat is 29 cm high, and the curvature of the top was selected after comfort tests with users. The wood is steam bent into set radii, dried, glued, sanded to a 400 grit finish and coated with a protective layer. Arcstool weighs 4 kg and supports more than 120 kg.
