Long Time
Long Time Clock is inspired by the captivating art of kirigami, a traditional Japanese technique that beautifully combines folding and cutting paper. Just like in kirigami, this clock is a blend of art and functionality. The cutting and folding technique allows for the creation of Roman numerals on the clock's sides. As a result, the numerals themselves seem to leap out of the metal strip, creating a play of positive and negative areas. Made from a laser-cut strip of aluminum, the clock has been sustainably designed to minimize material waste.
Long Time Wall Clock by Shelly Agronin has been selected as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Long Time Wall Clock was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition which honors excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
