Espressionismo Floreale
Espressionismo Floreale is a rug collection about the rebirth of life through flowers. Through color and geometric shapes, each design captures one natural reproductive part of a flower in its most abstract form. The rugs are woven from a luxurious blend of New Zealand wool and vegan silk using the hand tufting technique. They come to life in six different designs: Anther, Carpel, Filament, Leaf, Petal and Stamen. The design of each rug is a study of color and form that generates a sensation of a sinuous, elegant and forceful movement as these flowers own by nature unlocking a vibrant living.
Espressionismo Floreale Rugs by Laura Niubó was identified as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Espressionismo Floreale Rugs won the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which recognizes superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
