The work adopts organic curve design, giving the wood a new 3D surface shape to improve its aesthetic feeling. Dynamic and static balance, aesthetic elements and functions are harmoniously integrated. Visual flow adds a sense of emptiness to the modern home space and conveys a unique and energetic feeling to users. Because of its unique aesthetics, this coffee table can be used as a sculpture or decoration as well as a side table.
YJ Side Table by Lai Jiebin was selected as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. YJ Side Table received the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
