Cream
The Cream Stool has legs on straight edges of its seat, which look like natural curved extensions of its seat. When reversed, the stool can be used as a toy box, as its legs are just like sides of the box. All the bends at the front and back sides of the stool are curved, to make it look meek and lovely and dramatically reduce the possibility of hurting children when it turns over. The slightly sunken curve of its seat brings comfortable support, and the outstretching triangular shape makes the stool easy to be piled up and stored in a corner.
Cream Stool by Shimoyama Shanghai DIY Home Co., Ltd. has been identified as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Cream Stool received the Bronze A' Design Award in Baby, Kids' and Children's Products Design in 2023.
