Phantom
Phantom is a modular chair system made of transparent high-strength glass. Single chairs, multi-person seating, side tables and tables can be assembled from a small set of components. The gradient colours of the glass give each piece a bright and dreamlike appearance. The design combines minimal forms with a sculptural character. The high-strength glass meets load-bearing standards, so decorative objects and daily items can be placed on the tables and seats. Phantom suits both interior and exterior spaces and serves as furniture and as decoration.
Phantom Chair by Jun Wang has been featured as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Phantom Chair earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
