Ning
Ning is a spinning top mood light intended for bars, rooms and other interior spaces. The light turns on when the top begins to spin, and it stays on until the spinning stops. Ning is made of recycled glass, and the base is made of recycled aluminum. Strong magnets are set in the bottom of the top, while an electromagnet module and LED lights are embedded inside. The top is charged before use and glows when it responds to the electromagnet of the base. The design reflects the balance between people and nature.
Ning Mood Lighting by Wei Peng Hung has been identified as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ning Mood Lighting was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2023. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which rewards excellent design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
