Malmo
Malmo is a modular desk designed for both children and adults. The base is a frame with a connecting shelf that supports either a child height or an adult height table top. The table top extends at the front and sides, so the desk can stand against a wall with a radiator or in front of a window. A hole for cables is provided in the surface. A shelf 150 mm high holds books or a small printer, and drawer units can be added. Malmo is made of solid ash and ash veneer, finished with oil and wax on the frame and enamel on the tabletop.
Malmo Modular Table by Liubov Borisovskaia has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Malmo Modular Table earned the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that celebrates outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
