Lazygoose’s Kickproof
Kickproof is a quilt designed for school-age children between three and twelve years of age. The quilting follows the curves of a child's body, and the shoulder area is filled more thickly to stop warm air from escaping. A type-X inner structure adds gentle downward resistance, which reduces the tendency to kick the quilt aside during sleep. A widened fishtail opening leaves room for free leg movement. The filling is a soft fiber similar to down, and the fabric is treated against bacteria and can be machine washed.
Lazygoose’s Kickproof Quilt by Philip Lu was selected as a grand representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Lazygoose’s Kickproof Quilt received the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
