Green Nest
Green Nest is a planter stand inspired by the characteristics of a design classic, the E1027 side table by Eileen Gray. The structure is made of powder-coated tubular steel with a chrome-plated finish, which recalls the tubular frame of the original table. A circular base supports a planter with soil and plants and accepts pot sizes from 80 mm to 150 mm. Additional sections at the back of the frame provide space for hanging planters. The planter stand measures 600 mm by 500 mm by 700 mm.
Green Nest Planter by Utsav Khadka was featured as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Green Nest Planter was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which rewards excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
