Cadaques
Cadaques is an outdoor luminaire designed for coastal outdoor spaces. The design combines a spacer and a light washer in one piece. The shade is made of Vertisol fabric, an outdoor textile with International Maritime Organization certification, which gives the shade resistance to adverse weather conditions. The body is made of injected aluminium. A protection rating of IP65 guards the luminaire against solid objects and water. An 18 watt LED source provides warm light at 3000 K. The form takes inspiration from beach loungers.
Cadaques Outdoor Lighting by Faro Lab was recognized as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Cadaques Outdoor Lighting earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2020. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which recognizes exceptional design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
